How to prepare yourself for your tattoo appointment
PRE CARE
DO’S
Eat and stay hydrated before your appointment
Shower before your appointment.
Moisturize. Please only moisturize days before your appointment, not 24 hours before your appointment. We advise moisturizing your skin especially around December to February, due to the winter season, our skin tends to get more dry.
Shave, IF the area you’re getting a tattoo on has hair. Pls, shave 48 hours before your appointment.
Dress in comfortable clothing.
Bring whatever you need to feel comfortable at your appointment.
DON’TS
Do not come to your appointment intoxicated.
Do not come with damaged skin (ex. cuts, burns, bruises, fresh tans)
Do not shave 24 hours before your appointment as stated above.
Do not moisturize 24 hours before your appointment as stated above.
Do not do intensive exercise before your appointment, it will make your muscles sores and the procedure can become more painful.

Please note that everyone’s pain tolerance will be different. We do not use numbing cream on our tiny or fine-line tattoo services. But we will make sure to give you a fun and comfortable experience.
AFTER CARE
How to take care of your new tattoo
Wash your tattoo with lukewarm water and unscented or anti-bacterial soap after 3-4 hours.
Dry heal.
DONT’S
Do not pick, itch, scab, or scratch your new tattoo.
Do not touch your tattoo with dirty hands.
Do not wash with hot water.
Do not apply any creams that are not recommended by your artist.
Do not swim in pools, lakes, or oceans, This can cause infection.
Do not use any fragrance or alcohol-based soaps/creams.
Do not apply any creams/lotions while it is healing.
Do not wash or scrub your tattoo with a cloth or towel.
Avoid too much sun exposure
Avoid saunas, hot yoga, steam rooms, and intensive exercising while it is still scabbing. These activities opens your pores resulting in the pigment being pushed out causing bad retention.
Do not wear tight-fitting clothing while your tattoo is healing.
Do not let people touch your new tattoo.
Do not let your pets touch or lick your new tattoo.
